Membership Costs
- Annual National Dues: Covers insurance, programming, and youth protection resources.
- Local Pack Fees: Funds our local activities, badges, awards, and Pinewood Derby kits.
- Uniform Costs: Varies by rank. Starter kits available at local Scout Shops.
- Financial Assistance: We believe every child should scout. Scholarships are available upon request.

The First Den Meeting
Your cub's scouting experience starts with the Den. You'll meet your Den Leader, receive your scout handbook, and start building friendships with other local families in Gahanna.

When is the best time to join Pack 98?
You can join anytime! While our main recruitment happens in late summer and early fall, we welcome new Cub Scout families throughout the school year.
What age group is Cub Scouting for?
Pack 98 is for boys and girls in Kindergarten through 5th grade (approximately ages 5 to 10).
How do I register my child online?
Registration is managed through the official Scouting website. Fill out our inquiry form above, and we will send you the direct link for Pack 98 enrollment.
Can parents be involved in the Pack?
Absolutely! Cub Scouting is a family activity. We encourage parents to volunteer for leadership roles or assist with events to help our Scouts thrive.
Where do Pack meetings take place?
Our regular Pack meetings are held at Stonybrook Methodist Church in Gahanna. Special events and campouts take place at local parks and scout camps.
